Since from my chest it was ripped out,
With these feelings one must deal,
This I now know without a doubt.
You can't replace the one you love,
With the person you next kiss,
Feelings on one you cannot shove,
Love will never work like this.
My heart is aching to still beat,
Beat with life and love so true,
It will not give in or admit defeat,
Something this heart could ever do.
It's natural reaction is love so strong,
Put other's first without a cause,
Even when others say it's so wrong,
Or know you won't get any applause.
Love is about taking a vital chance,
Not knowing if you'll win or lose,
Simply deciding to die or dance,
The right choice you hope to choose.
So before that step you choose to make,
Be sure your heart is strong and true,
Otherwise those feelings may be fake,
That is one thing you should never do.
