The Deepest Love

The deepest love that one could know,
Is the kind that tugs at your heart,
The deepest love that one could show,
Is the kind you give in every part.

Not afraid what one would say,
Whether it be good or bad,
But rather showing in every way,
Happiness for the times you’ve had.

I always gave this love to you,
Without a question or a fear,
I always thought our love just grew,
With every minute we would share.

You always took my breath away,
When I felt you touch my hand,
In such a way that one might say,
You and I were forever planned.

Just the thought of losing you,
Would wipe a smile off my face,
Cause I don’t know what I would do,
If from my life you were erased.

So let’s keep our love going strong,
Overcoming every fear and doubt,
Cause with you is where I belong,
Because you're what I’m all about.

Hi, I liked this poem a lot. Every line of this is true. I read it to my fiancee over the phone and she liked it too :-)
