At times I look back on my life,

But closer to Him I see it's worth.

I always adored and showed compassion,

Tossed away love she'd never known,
Pushed away her lover one strong man,
Because far apart they'd quickly grown,
She did not like God's perfect plan.

Now at night she lays her head,

Now at night when I lay my head,
I lift my heart up to my God,
