If I could only say in words,
Just what you mean to me,
It would be as a flock of birds,
Singing sweetly in a tree.
I guess it's how you always know,
Just what and when to say,
That always helps to cheer my soul,
And bring along a brighter day.
So today's the day I'll pop the question,
Asking you if me you'll marry,
Knowing that with God's direction,
You and I were meant to be.
If you say "yes" I'll do all I can,
To make sure we stay together,
Walking each day as hand in hand,
And loving each other more each day.
But if you say "no" always remember,
